  1. Thank you so much ! Your video almost made me cry :))) Im 5 weeks pregnant and i stopped my practice completely but my body has been so unhappy . Its difficult to get options on Ashtanga practice during pregnancy specially the first trimester . I can see from your modifications theres less stress on the body and bundle . So you didn't practice in your first trimester ? Did you do nay kind of stretching at all ? Specially back exercise .. I have lots of pain in my middle back and shoulders always ! Thank you again for your post 🙂

  2. Thank you Reiko for this video, I'm 17 weeks and have just started my practice back up and it's been hard to find other ashtanga yoga guidelines for pregnancy.  It really helps to see what the practice looks like. Thank You!!

  3. Reiko, I cannot say thank you enough for taking the time to create and post such a fantastic video. I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and followed this video at home today. It was the best practice I have had in months!! It was so nice to (virtually) practice the primary series with someone else who is pregnant, and the way you managed to demo the modifications while maintaining the speed of the flow is really incredible!! I will be following this every morning from now on! I cannot wait to  try the second series. THANK YOU for making this!!!

Hey, thanks for sharing the series with the modification for pregnant women..I have been practicing since 1and half year…and started practice in my second trimester but felt a little back ache after the practice so I suspended the practice for a while now I am 23 weeks pregnant ….your modifications are much more elaborated..I will adopt these and will start my practice again…
